  My Bicycle was stolen from outside Athena Games this evening. The shops cctv doesn't cover the outside. Police just gave me a reference number and said they'd write to me in 4-6 weeks which doesn't fill me with hope. It's very recognisable - picture below, any ideas on where I could look for it? Either physical locations or online selling groups etc.. Has anyone else successfully retrieved a stolen bicycle before? If so how did you find it?

  You can still register your bike including photos for free.... https://www.bikeregister.com/ You can buy stickers from them.... With the register it provides you with a downloadable log book for your bike and if you sell on.... You can transfer the bike to the new owner.... All helps the Police & Insurance claims....As well as the trade to check bikes incase they are stolen & they are brought in/traded in...

  you need different types of locks this is what put thieves off because they need different tools to cut them which they don't usually carry. get your bike also registered with https://www.bikeregister.com/ are you parking it day or night time? you should camouflage it if it is a good bike, Luke used to put duck tape over his so it looks crap at first sight
