  First time homebuyer in Baltimore Hello! Just purchased my first home in Baltimore (Federal Hill). I am very excited. Anyone have any suggestions on good contractors to do some repair work? I.e. I need a garbage disposal installed. I need my whole interior painted. I have old pine floors, covered by a floating floor that I want to be refinished. Can I ask the city to fix my severely cracked sidewalk in front of my house (I believe water is seeping through the cracks into the foundation is the excuse I am going to use). I want a GC to open the place up a little bit and remove non load bearing walls. I want to add a nice shower and sink to master bathroom. What is the name of the place near Penn Station where you can rent tools from the city? Where do I find a furniture depot? Where can I find a list of approved/recommended contractors per the peoples opinion? Anything will help! Thanks!
