  Diana I'm sorry that your tooth hurts now, tooth pain is the worst. Sounds to me like you got a composite filling, the tooth colored ones, and unfortunately with those you have a chance of having sensitivity up to a year. But there are also other possi bilities of what could be causing your pain. If your not happy with your current dentist go see another one and let them try and solve your problem. I recommend Dr Micah Snyder, she will never push anything on you and she will tell you all your options. She is honest with her diagnoses and treatment options and truly cares for her patients.
