Will return to Newark, take shuttle to my car, and away I'll go, back home in my own car. Did it last year... no worries about traffic or being late for flight, or getting someone to drop off and pick up.

  Best solution for our last trip was recommended by my daughter. Sign up for Park-Sleep-Fly. There are area hotels that give a discount for the one-night stay and then you can park for free at their lot and get shuttled to the airport. Saved us a bunch of money vs limo. And no stress getting up squirrely-early the morning of the flight. Just double check which hotel you pick and look for the number of free nights it allows. Some hotels allow longer parking than others. =} http://www.parksleepfly.com/
