  My big-hearted sister, Jill, found this sweet little guy at Skillman and Gaston this morning. He is thin as a rail, and it's obvious he's been away from home for quite some time, but he has a collar so someone is probably missing him. I cannot keep him as I know he needs some attention from the vet and it's probably not wise for him to interact with our other two dogs. Does anyone in DFW know of a rescue group who can help? I'm willing to help pay for medical attention, but I just can't keep him at my house.

  Try Paws in the City or Animal Allies of Texas. Metroplex Mutts is also good, but I know all of their foster spots are full because I am waiting for an opening so they can take the little terrier mix that was found on July 4 that no one has claimed. You should also check the listings on FidoFinder.com and FindToto.com. If none of those pan out, message me and I'll give you more groups.

  also check out Find Charlie. A great, inspiring story of not giving up hope-even when all is thought lost. Posters were put up yes, but Facebook allows people to share pics and info, alos those people share and post in other areas. Also, check out www.findtoto.com. Phone blasts are sent out to area homes.
