  Can anyone recommend a fee-based financial planner (a Richmondmom would be a plus!) who doesn't also handle investments? I'd like someone to help me create a financial plan, but without steering me toward their in-house investments. I found 2 fee-only planners in town through NAPFA, and while they create financial plans without a commission, they both recommended the investment options their firm manages for commission. That sorta defeats the purpose to me. Thanks!
