This review is not based on a service provided because a service was never provided. In fact, it was refused. My sister and I bought a Groupon for my parents to get a couples massage at Every Body Massage. They were very excited and tried calling multiple times to get an appointment before the Groupon expired. They were continuously told there were no available appointments. About a week before the Groupon expired they were able to get an appointment but the date was past the expiration. The staff member ASSURED them they did not have to worry about it and they would still honor the original Groupon. They were never asked for the Groupon number. The night before their massage they got a text from the owner confirming they wanted to cancel their massage even though they never requested a cancellation. My dad called the owner and said he never asked to cancel. No apology from her for the misunderstanding. Instead, she said she needed the Groupon number which my dad did not have with him at the time and she rudely told him he better call with it before 9 am the next morning. He called with it at 7:30 am the next morning and was then told by the owner they would not honor the Groupon because it was expired. When my dad, a business owner himself, complained to the owner about this being an unprofessional establishment the owner refused to work with him. She would not give them a refund and told them they would have to go through Groupon. I called the owner myself and instead of apologizing for the mix up and poor customer service she gave me excuse after excuse (her son was answering phones, her computer crashed, etc.). I was very patient with her and just asked her to make it right for them. She kept telling me she did not think it was a good idea to service a client who was already frustrated with her business practices. After getting nowhere with her, I finally flat out asked her if she was refusing to service my parents. After her saying, "Well..." and continuing to make excuses. I asked her again and told her it was a YES or NO. Instead of turning TERRIBLE customer service into an easy fix she chose to REFUSE service. That was until I told her I was going to give her terrible reviews online. She quickly changed her tune and said she could get them in after all. At that point it was entirely too late. She was rude, irrational, disrespectful and full of excuses. I will never ever consider going to this place. There are plenty of other fantastic masseuses out there who CARE about their potential customers. I don't care how good the therapists are - it is not worth it!
