My favourite hardcore/post hardcore/punk T&N bands are: bloodshed, Roadside Monument, blenderhead, Focused, Unashamed, 90 lb wuss, Strongarm, Overcome, Frodus, early ZAO, the Cootees, the early MxPx, Huntingtons. Love old One21 too. I also really like shoe gaze and some of that stuff, like SF59, Joe Christmas, Sal Paradise, Lassie Foundation. I am a sucker for New Wave/80s, so also love Fine China and Foxglove Hunt. Anyway, I just discovered xLookingForwardx and The Deal, both really great old-school Christian hardcore/punk bands with positive messages and that classic sound. Any recommendations? I realise this is random. But I am trying to support artists and buy their stuff instead of just listening online. Plus really trying to listen to Christian music because it's amazing so many people are making art like this!
