I’ve been waiting and hoping that might change but my current employer has the most basic horrible benefits with no orthodontic coverage. I’m lucky to have a job and I can’t wait any longer to get my kid braces. Does anyone have any experience with decent affordable orthodontists? I know it will be expensive and I know I’ll need to work out a payment plan. I just don’t want to over pay when money is tight all around.   I took my son to Dr. Truman in Anthem upon a recommendation of a friend who I trust goes to good doctors etc. His brother has an office in the Summerlin area. I really love the office staff and the appointments were quick. My son only needed braces for 1 year. I dont remember the full amount, but we paid $100 a month for 1 year, i did have to put a down payment, and my insurance covered $900. I think they give a free checkup to get a quote. The retainer was included after, i just paid extra for insurance. Trumanorthodontics.com
