My pewter mug has sprung a leak. This has made me sad. Any suggestions for sealing it?

JB Weld fixes just about anything. It is a two part filled epoxy. It can take something like 500F with no issues. When it is cured, I would guess it is pretty non toxic. You can get it at HD or an ACE hardware store. When it cures, it is grey colored, if color matters at all. There are two part clear epoxies of course, but they don't take heat as well. http://www.jbweld.com/
