  Removals, tenements and limited parking Hiya. Moving into a tenement soon and the parking's shite (Dennistoun). Anyone got any recommendations for removals companies who won't be pure awkward about the parking situation and carrying stuff 2 floors up a close? Also, anyone got any advice/anecdotes that will make me feel better about the whole moving thing? Much obliged.

  I'd massively recommend these guys, who I used in the same situation. http://www.thehomeremovalscompany.co.uk/ Used them for my last 2 moves, last time was from a 2 nd floor to a 3 rd floor on New Years Eve, on a Sunday, in the snow, with terrible parking and they did not complain or mumble a jot. As to the parking problem, they're used to it, and come out to recon first. If they have to block the road, they just do that. They work so fast it's not a problem - they do like 5 or 6 tenement moves a day per crew

  The Home Removals Company. They do Glasgow, Edinburgh, London. We used them in Glasgow and you could not wish to be moved by a nicer bunch of blokes. I've used them twice, and they moved my Mum up from Lancs too. They do weekly runs up and down London to Scotland, so if it is a part load you can do that, or book in your own job. They have an easy online quote thing. I can't recommend them highly enough.
