  [Recommendation] Movers / Men with van I’m moving house in North London. Both apartments are close to each other. I’m looking for reliable movers, who are careful with my furniture and boxes. Needs to be carried down and back up several flights of narrow stairs. Short drive (3 mins) in between. So many options for “man with a van” come up on Google, Gumtree etc. So with the hope of narrowing down the search a bit: Does anyone on the sub have any recommendations and/or warnings based on their experience with movers in London?   Time to move! You've found the perfect room with awesome flat mates, or a nice little studio/one bed to come home to at the end of your travels. Everything is agreed and you're ready to move. But how do you get all your stuff from your old place to your new place without your trusty old car you left behind in Aus?! If you've been in London for a while you've probably accumulated a bit of stuff and can no longer fit everything in to that suitcase you brought over a couple (or a few more) years ago. I'm moving in less than 2 weeks and suddenly realised I can't possibly move all my belongings with a few tube rides! I'm sure others have found themselves in this position before and others will soon also have the same problem. So we're asking you to share your recommendations for removalist companies, man and van's, or any other reliable cost effective ways you have moved your belongings from one home to another. Just comment on this pic with your advice/recommendations and we'll put it in our "Helpful Aussies" album for anyone to refer back to when they find themselves in the same position as me!   I have moved with Zipvan and Rocket Van. Rocket Van was good value and the guys moved me in 1/4 the time it took me to move myself and they delivered the boxes which was a big help. http://www.rocketvan.co.uk/
