Someone very dear to me (not a relative and I'd prefer no one who knows them to identify them here) is aging, in declining health, and needs some legal work that, while probably not that complex, is beyond my current expertise:
- durable power of attorney
- living will
- family trust
I can help them either by giving out a referral to someone I know and trust or by asking someone to review work that I perform based on models, just to make sure that I'm doing things correctly (and, ideally, optimally).
If I do it, I'm not going to charge them, but if you want to be charged for helping to monitor and advise my work product, we can work that out. It may be easier for someone else to do it without my involvement beyond introductions. Let me know if you're willing to assist in one or the other fashion.
