  I use a service maxemail.com which gives you a free dedicated phone number to receive faxes. it is dirt cheap

  You'll get plenty of different answers on that one! I use maxemail.com and send all of my incoming faxes to myself and my assistant. $84 a year. I've used it for a number of years.
