  I needed a plumber last week, had to call several places before I got someone quickly. Bruce Stelter is someone we used recently and was very reasonable, but I believe he was away and his mailbox was full. 767-1431. I do recommend him, he just might be busy. Good luck. If you have a hard time getting someone more local, I ended up with Simmons and they were fine/quick appointment, just expensive. 800-929-8339

  There are plenty of plumbers around, but you shouldn't be afraid of getting a new system, because it will be far more efficient and cost less to operate. Call National Grid Gas (not electric) or look at their website and find out what programs they are offering for rebates. Two plumbers I know of are Simmons ((978) 462-0553) and Walsh ((978) 500-3342). Caswell is also local but I don't have their phone number.
