  Have you checked out [Fresh Reno](http://www.freshreno.ca/)? Several friends have hired them and been happy. They are the only renovators I've seen who post prices on their website.

They carry $2M insurance, have examples of actual estimates on their site, and their past clients are happy to be references. Visit their site to see the decks and porches they've worked on, including progress photos. (This is one way you know the photos are real and not purchased stock photos)

  Check out www.freshreno.ca. They've built many porches and all photos (including progress photos) are on their website. The website even has actual estimates, so you can predict the cost. The owner is part of the team and always on-site. They carry insurance, help you get permits and come highly recommended.

  Hi Chantelle Hamilton, definitely check out Fresh Reno Ottawa. Owner does the work. Always on site. They post examples of actual estimates on their website www.freshreno.ca. Currently booked solid until January (which speaks volumes). He never advertises—all clients come through word of mouth. He's done work for Stephanie MacGregor, Ian Capstick, etc.
