  Alice - I too had similar experience. For months in advance I was hired to do 10-7 event. Moved and rescheduled my regular clients to accommodate this party. Less than 2 days prior it was down to 2-6. Glad that I don't do discounts for "bulk" and they are lucky I didn't charged them full day's rate (760) and had them pay the difference. For those that are interested I follow sugested rates by our MT organization. I don't want people coming to me because I'm cheap or cheaper by undercutting my colleagues .
