Alrighty Balingit - this is for real (via my Portland buddy): Heart Barista (which someone mentioned) and Cafe Vita Tada!!!

You need to try Salt & Straw ice cream on 23 rd. Coava but it's on the other side of the river away from the city. Voo Doo is classic and silly but Blue Star is up and coming and incredible! Explore the food carts if you want a really good authentic meal barista and stump town are good recommendations too!
Any Dog-friendly Coffee Shop Recommendations for Portland? I'm in Portland OR for the week with my dog. Any tips? I'm actually having breakfast outside at Arbor Lodge right now, so so far so good.
Thanks!

[Barista PDX](http://baristapdx.com/) on Alberta St. has some outside seating (covered) and water dishes (in fact a lot of Alberta has some good outside dog friendly seating). I've also brought mine in to the Pearl location. I'm not sure if it's officially dog friendly, but the folks at [Coava](http://coava.myshopify.com/pages/locations) let me bring my dog into their shop. I'd also recommend the [Tin Shed Garden Cafe](http://tinshedgardencafe.com/dogs/). Not a coffee shop, but a decent dog friendly restaurant with a dog menu.
