  I recommend the super sites....you will only be about a 5-10 minute ride to the front gate at Oceana.. (where air show takes place) in fact unless you just want to be on the air strip you will be able to see most if the show right from the campground......do not stay down the street at the KOA....it is a dive http://www.campingvb.com/

  We stayed at Cherrystone (http://cherrystoneva.com/) last month and LOVED it. It's about a 20/30 minute drive to VA Beach on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. I also have friends that stay at Holiday Travel L Park (http://www.campingvb.com/). That's only a couple miles from the beach.
