  Decent salons in the area? I realize that I might not get a ton of responses here, but I haven't gotten my hair cut since we've moved here a few months ago. I'd usually just go to a great clips because it's cheap, but I want something done that's a little more intensive this time than a trim so I'd rather go to a legit/nicer salon. I've done my googling, but I like to have a more word-of-mouth style recommendation for things like this when possible.

  I’m the owner of Elsewhere Salon on Castle street, if you’re familiar with the arts and antiques area. Depending on the style of people/shop you prefer we’re super laid back and friendly. We don’t fall into the normal category that most salons do. Very different atmosphere. Our stylist Melissa is amazing and new to our shop so she’s had a little extra free time while her clients find her from the move.
