About us
In her nine-year career as a Makeup Artist, Andrea has established herself as one of the most highly respected and diversified artists in the beauty industry today. Growing up in a family that owned salons, Andrea realized early on that the beauty industry was her passion. At age eighteen she set her sights on moving from her small hometown in Michigan to Los, Angeles California to attend the globally acclaimed Makeup Designory School.
Having spent most of her childhood idolizing "Old Hollywood" ideals of beauty, initially Andrea directed her attention towards building her skill-set to work in the film industry. However, it wasn't until she began surrounding herself with a creative community of photographers and stylists whom she collaborated with frequently that she found her true passion: the fashion industry.
After establishing her newfound direction, Andrea decided to once again set her sights on something new and made the leap to moving to London, England. Surrounded by the inspiration of London’s fashion industry, Andrea spent time developing her artistic skills and continuing to build her portfolio.
After spending a year abroad, Andrea decided that it was time to finally come home and apply the experience she had gained towards building a successful career in her native Michigan. While initially building her fashion and commercial clientele, she worked her way up by freelancing as an artist for numerous cosmetic lines and working with hundreds of beautiful brides. Through this experience she realized her love for makeup extended far past the realms of working strictly with models and actresses, and her awe of makeup’s ability to empower the everyday woman grew. This realization gave her the drive to maintain a diversified clientele that spans multiple industries.
Andrea collaborates with many leading photographers, and her signature beauty looks can be found on the pages of: People, Money, La'G, Prim, BG, Styleline, Ambassador, and 944 magazines.
Her love... show more for the advertising world is personified through her collaboration with many leading agencies and production companies creating campaigns for companies such as: General Motors, Chrysler, Quicken Loans, Motor City Casino, Minute Maid, and Best Buy just to name a few.
Andrea is also frequently requested to work with celebrities for events, music videos, and print features. She feels blessed to have worked with such people as: Kid Rock, Dr. Dre, Lena Olin, Miss America, Claudette Robinson, and numerous professional sports figures and media personalities.
