  Mechanic friends, I could use some advice. Friend has a 2004 dodge auto with 120,000 miles with the hemi in it. Truck blew a hose and overheated. Engine needs replaced or rebuilt. Truck is located near Vancover Wa. Local shop quoted 3k for the rebuild, 2k for the install. And 500.00 for parts. 5500.00 Seams a little high to me, but I do not know this engine well. Anyone have some ideas or want to take it on? Owner wants a warranty for the engine and work performed.
