I have a rebel, decent lighting equipment, tripods, and all that jazz but I'm looking to get some advice mainly on photographing interiors.   Depending on the market and style you want to do check out this site http://photographyforrealestate.net/. I get quite a few tips. I'm on contract w a San Diego/SoCal company and we do real estate completely opposite of traditional architectural photography but it's profitable And steady. They're the top real estate photography company in the county. A lot of mix of ambient and flash exposures fused together instead of getting it all lit in one shot. Upside is speed and light equipment. Downside is processing time in PS and lighting compromises. But it's a recession proof job. Winters slow and Summer's crazy busy

  As someone that likes to spend money, needlessly, I agree with everything said so far. The only thing I can ad, is this: just don't buy a camera so you can take nice pics of a toilet, or pieces of furniture. This has to be my biggest pet peeve; Realtors posting pics of items in the house, rather than the house. When was the last time a buyer said, "honey, I have to have this house, did you see that toilet?" You may also want to look at these: http://photographyforrealestate.net I'm looking for the course I had found, but never had the time to take it. Its online with 17 modules (i think). But the site I gave you is a great source of info, from the pros, but they will help. But you can just read and do some research, quietly.
