  I'm needing a dog sitter/ kennel for five days, but I can't seem to find anyone trustworthy or willing to answer the phone. I will not leave her with a place that will only take her out for a short time each day, and that seems to be my biggest issue. If anyone knows somewhere where I can take her, and she won't be treated like a paycheck that would be great. It doesn't necessarily need to be in Jeff City, but it does need to be high quality.   Recommendations please! Thank you in advance. In the fall my family is going on a week long trip. I have two indoor dogs who I have never been away from for long periods of time. One is a very very large German shepherd who is pretty chill. The other is a small dog who really needs affection. I can't see her doing well in a kennel all day without getting depressed. Where in the area would you take them for the best care? Side note: all my friends and family are coming with us because it's for my destination wedding. Otherwise this wouldn't be an issue.

  Honey Creek is a great pet place if your pet does not mind noise. My two are used to quiet, so not the best solution. John, the pet guy, is pricey but very good. I now use a young girl down the street. She is good, reliable and the dogs love her. Look around your neighborhood.
