  I was just in downtown Phoenix for work. Not as happening as Scottsdale on the weekends, which was very surprising. You can check out: www.visitphoenix.com and www.downtownphoenix.com If you have kids, the science museum (Arizona Science Center) is a big hit. Not so much for adults, though I did enjoy the rooftop view of the mountains (low floor, but no windows so pictures came out better than high up from within windows). The Hyatt has a rooftop restaurant on their top floor (I think it is 24 th floor) that has great food and drinks, and it is one of those rotating restaurants. Great views, food and great service. The Heard Museum has one of the largest collections of native american art. I was very limited, as I only had a few hours that I wasn't taking care of clients or attendees, and everything I did had to be in walking distance. Some of my clients went to an old west city in the area and they had a great time (they were in from Switzerland and Germany and wanted an old west experience). I forget the name of the place, but I could probably find it. Two things that I wanted to do but it was too far and I didn't have time, there is a music experience or music instrument museum, and there is a Frank Lloyd Wright museum... but that all depends on what interests you!
