  Give me recommendations for the best nearby restaurants to find high-quality meat (specifically burgers/hot dogs). We're vegetarian, but my daughter occasionally wants to try burgers and hot dogs (or maybe a couple other meat items), and I don't want to get her crap like McD's and Sonic. I know about Blue Bird Bistro already, I want other good recs like that one - local, grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, hormone-free, etc.

  Blanc Burgers & Bottles. Haus gets all their meat from The Local Pig as well. Westside Local doesn't specialize in burgers/sausages, but they're good there.

  McGonigles is not grass-fed/organic, etc. Local Pig is organic and hyper-local. Broadway Butcher has some grass-fed/organic type stuff but I don't think any of it is local.

  The brats and burger meat at Haus are provided by Local Pig. They also have a veggie brat thats really good. I like their fries too.
