  Great dinner, service excelent, ambient perfect, good music selection, setup of restaurant is warm. We were served with aubergine caviar & antipasto on the house, had a linguini zucchini e gamberi for €9.50, ribeye steak Irish Prime Steer for €22.50-perfectly cooked, creme brulee for €4.90.   Patrick's Lounge, Restaurant & Steakhouse of Victoria Gozo, is a WRMC SILVER SPOON RESTAURANT awarded in January 2013. WRMC stands for Wines and Restaurants of Malta. Com http://www.winesandrestaurantsofmalta.com . Restaurants selected for this award are just a maximum of six in any one year, and are selected through a thorough initial survey to determine the standard of: ambience, atmosphere, decor, cleanliness, cuisine quality, preparation and presentation, value for money commensurate with the concept, wine-list and mark-ups, service and management efficiency. This inspection is then followed by two or three further anonymous inspections throughout the year to determine consistency and the finalists must have obtained a minimum 9.5 points out of 10 in the consolidated inspection results of all inspectors.. In most cases the initial review is published in the website and highlighted here and is open for constructive comment from all members who would have dined at these establishments recently.

  Although I do not normally allow direct questions asking for specific restaurant recommendations, this query from Jim Chircop, (who, I will very much appreciate, if he places a personal photo on his profile, so that we will all know with whom we are discussing issues rather than looking at a picture), is of interest to me as I would really like to know what he considers to be in his own words "only TRADITIONAL MALTESE CUISINE". Enlighten me please of what is only traditional Maltese cuisine. I have just deleted a rather ambiguous question from a member in which she asked us on this group, to recommend a restaurant for her anniversary. There are 1500 registered restaurants in Malta , all of which will be very pleased to entertain her. What I will certainly suggest to the lady is to log-in to our complementary website Wines and Restaurants of Malta on http://www.winesandrestaurantsofmalta.com/ in which she has ample reviewed restaurants to chose from.   Would anyone consider this to be decent food served by a restaurant? Pre-cooked, overcooked, warmed, bragioli (beef olives), with a solid thick spread of something called sauce on top; Cold salad served in the plate with a supposedly hot dish and chips from a packet.
