Hi ladies! I'm looking for satin bags to be used as packaging for my hair extension line. Does anyone have any local suggestions? Thanks (pic in comment as example)
Any good recommendations for a seamstress or tailor that won't charge me $25 to replace a zipper? I find that expensive... maybe it isn't?

Just checked out the web site Zena Khalil mentioned. Oh I wish I had known about this place when I lived in Ottawa! Not only does it do repairs, but it creates sewing projects like promotional bags for events but it is also a fabric store (there is a sale this Saturday ladies) and it supports the training they do there for immigrants and the underemployed - especially women. It is a registered charity and from what I read it is a solid ethical one. One that is making a difference. One that maybe we should think about supporting when we can as individuals. Catherine Landry, this may be a group that your young ladies may be interested in getting involved in. They have sewing classes and many other classes also. Here is the link http://ecoequitable.ca/-
