  Florida has 2 main ports, Ft Lauderdale and Miami, depending on where you go they have different cruise lines that cruise from there, Ft Lauderdale has Royal Caribbean and Carnval and Miami has those 2 as well as Norwegian. Depending on the type of cruise youd like to go on will determine which line you choose. If you want to want to save some money, like to have fun and don't mind a younger crowd, you may want to go on carnival. If you would prefer something a little nicer with less kids and college students Id look into the other 2. All of Miami's cruises go to the Bahamas or western islands, Ft Lauderdale's have an eastern, southern and western.
