Hiya all, I'm hoping to get over this weekend with my family, looking for recommendations for camp sites (ideally lakeside), I know it's very short notice so most places will be booked up, any help will really be appreciated TIA
Can anyone recommend a good camp site that's dog friendly and good walks around. Looking to visit in summer . Thanks x

Fisherground in Easkdale. Alison and Muck have looked after us for years. The dogs are welcome and it is a proper family campsite. They also allow camp fires. Fabulous walking direct from the campsite or via the Ratty which had a halt right by the campsite. http://www.fishergroundcampsite.co.uk/
Does anyone have any recommendations for camping pods for february half term please? It's for two adults and a child so looking for somewhere that is child friendly and not too out of the way, thanks!
Please can people recommend places for camping in the Lakes? Ideally somewhere which is not too expensive and has basic facilities. Thank you!

www.fishergroundcampsite.co.uk is in Eskdale. Great site, you don't need to book. It's clean and tidy. Lyle rattie ( the train) runs to ravens glass from booth nearby. Great beaches. Check the link at the beginning.
