Do you know anywhere that has free or cheap spaying / neutering for dogs or cats?

Awesome that you're looking to spay/neuter! We encourage our community to support the local vets who support MAPS. We work with 5 area vets, who offer discounted rates to MAPS and donate their time to our organization to help us keep our shelter costs down. This allows us to help more animals. By supporting the following businesses, you are essentially supporting MAPS! :) Wildwood Animal Hospital Marshfield Veterinary Service Castlerock Veterinary Hospital Dr Sue Stanius, Stratford Hoof & Paw, Dr Hartmann, Loyal Low cost spay/neuter clinics outside the Marshfield area: http://the-fix-is-in.org/ http://www.spayme.com/
i have a male kitten thats 9 weeks old, We would like to have him fixed but we cant afford to. He was given to my fiances son, he was unexpected but is a part of our family now. any suggestions? we love this cat and want him to be healthy

Hi Wendy, Your kitten is certainly a cute little guy! Getting him neutered sooner than later is best as male cats often will start to mark their territory by spraying. We are able to do surgeries when pets are 8 weeks old and 2 or more pounds in weight. Currently, our male cat surgery fee is $35, which includes the surgery, rabies, nail trim and ear cleaning. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call 715-550-7729.
If your looking for a new space in the medford area let me know. I run BBs Aquatics & More and I would be willing to let you use some space at my store if your interested.
