  I am wanting to try having a print made from a scan I make of one of my B&W 8x10 negatives, so of course the image will be digitized. I have never tried any custom digital printing services, and wondered if anyone could recommend one that does good work, on good paper or some sort. I know it's not going to be as good as printing the negative direct, but I'm wanting to experiment and find someone that does this good for possible future use. Also recommendations on DPI and digital image size in pixels for say a 16x20 would be appreciated. Digital printing is new to me...

  I use Dalmatian in Greensboro NC. Black and white custom lab doing traditional and digital. They will even print a digital file to real Ilford Fiber based photo paper. http://dalmatianlab.com/
