  Rocky Ford Shelter has an 11 year old Shari Pei. We believe he has been on a chain his whole life. Due to this, he is at times unpredictable, especially when trying to put him back in his kennel. The order came down from the Chief, Rocky Ford cannot as sume the liability of adopting this animal out, and Lisa was directed to Euthanize him if there was not a Rescue that would take him. I know very well that most of you work on Foster Home basis only, that your full, that he's old. But we have to try for this guy, we very much understand that very few rescues can take on a case like this. Thank you for reading and doing what you can.
