Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
Growing up in Kings Worthy, my first experience of tree surgery was aged 14 when I did work experience for a local business. I trained at Sparsholt college and have been running Tom Fisher Tree Care for over 20 years.
Describe a typical work day for you?
Our work is so varied it's hard to describe a typical day. Our work ranges from the smallest hedge cutting jobs, to big site clearances. We love seeing our return customers year on year to keep their gardens looking tidy!
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
I've always loved being outside and have a deep appreciation for the natural world. We always advise our customers on the best time of year to undertake work so that it causes minimal disturbance to wildlife.
How can a customer ensure that they receive the best possible service from you?
