HVAC companies Any recommendations for an HVAC company that offers a reasonably priced “tune up” service and doesn’t push replacing a system that doesn’t need to be? My system seemed to work fine when I moved in last year but i just feel like its effectiveness has decreased since then and want to make sure what’s really going on. The system isn’t undersized (3 ton 13 seer) for the home (1700 sq 2 story) and is newer (2009).
I already searched and there’s been no recent discussion here about local HVAC companies.

Highly recommend A1 http://www.a1 bestvalue.com/ Another company wanted to just replace my entire system, but these guys were able to just replace parts of it, which was half the price of the other estimate I was given. Very good price and was finished in just a day. This was done 2 months ago.
HAVC contractor recommendations for Hunstville My 20 year old furnace is on its last legs, how a builder basic Rheem lasted this long is beyond me. Anyway I am looking for any recommendations folks might have for a HVAC contractor to come out and give me a quote. I am looking to get quotes from 2-3 contractors.
thanks

Heating/Cooling recommendations? Hey /r/HuntsvilleAlabama!
I'm looking for recommendations for a Heating and Cooling repair company - preferably locally owned.
We're getting ready to convert the house from a heat pump + LP fireplace insert to NG as well as installing a Nest thermostat. Hit me with whatever ya got!

I use [Steve Tangeman of A1](http://www.a1 bestvalue.com). It is a one man company and this dude is great. I had him do an emergency unit replacement (handler and 1 ton unit change) in the middle of july one year. He told me what needed to be done, gave me options, and got it done in a single day while I was at work. Highly recommended. Very nice guy with a killer work ethic and actually cares about his work.
Good grief! May need to replace both air conditioning units. Or maybe not. Who knows? Anyway, I would appreciate recommendations on HVAC companies for installation or any data on central A/C costs.

Ok folks, can anyone recommend a good HVAC company/person? I need a mini split system installed and then some duct work replaced/repaired with my primary unit.
