We Specialize in Hybrid Vehicles.
Hi-Tech Automotive is a full-service automotive repair shop located in Silverlake, specializing in foreign and domestic vehicles. We have been serving the greater Los Angeles area since 1986. We are a family business and have been a local shop that has become synonymous with quality repairs and courteous and friendly customer service. We perform repairs on all foreign and domestic vehicles, from a simple oil change or tune-up all the way to an engine swap. And if there is something our mechanics can not perform ourselves, we will work with our extensive network of partners to get the job done for you.
At Hi-Tech Automotive no job is too big or too small. From replacing your windshield wipers to engine and transmission rebuilds we are here to attend to your vehicles needs. Drop by or schedule an appointment, diagnosis is always free of charge. We always perform a safety inspection and provide a complimentary car wash when you visit us for maintenance or repairs.
It’s been an amazing 29 years since I opened the doors to Hi-Tech Full Service Automotive Repair at this location in Silverlake. When I started the business it was based on principals and ethos my father had instilled in me as a second generation mechanic: I was lucky to be trained by the best. My father impressed upon me that that doing a repair properly was a matter of course and that cars of customers were more than just a business, that they were a connection to real people and lifelong relationships. He also held the futuristic view that technology would be swiftly imposing itself on automobiles. When it came time to name the business this was not a casual affair as investing in the latest generation diagnostic equipment and specialized tools for your car is what makes the name very special me.
