Hairdresser recommendations for a tomboy? I recently moved back to London having finished uni in Norwich and I need to find a new hairdresser. I've got a short, boyish haircut and would like to find somewhere that cuts men's and women's hair and has clippers.
What's the deal with men's haircuts being way cheaper as well?
Any recommendations? I spent £35 at Flint in Norwich.

Seconding Barberette - it's where I went as a baby queer. She's put her prices up recently though, but it's always a quality cut (she uses a straight razor for the back of the neck.. mm..). There's also Open Barbers who operate on a "pay what you can" scale specifically for non-gender conforming people, but they're very popular and you often need to book a few weeks in advance. Generally I end up just going to the "men only" barbers near my work. Turns out they don't give a crap as long as I pay the same as everyone else.
