  Took my daughter in Sept to her Dr. to address the pains in her stomach checked out. Dr dismissed them as needing more fiber in her diet. Oct. 30 she ended up needing laproscopic surgery to remove her appendix. Today.. two weeks later she is still experiencing pain in the abdomen and a rash. Called them this morning asking to get an appt today ...... Oakwood Southgate Health Center: "We cant fit her in today" Me: "Do any of the other Dr.s in the office have openings, Im really concerned?" Oakwood Southgate Health Center: "What type of insurance does she have?" Me: "Does it matter?" Oakwood Southgate Health Center: ......silence..... Me: "Blue Care Network" Oakwood Southgate Health Center: "No we have no openings. You can try to call back at 4:00 to see if we can fit her in tomorrow." Anyone recommend a good family Dr. downriver taking new patients????????

  Dr. Levy, Moses, Hoisington, and Dagher-Rogers. In Dearborn on Monroe st. They hv 4 drs (2 men and 2 women) and 2 nurses on staff! We switched to them at the beginning of the year and hv not regretted it for a moment! 313-730-0070.
