Still $80 ish per month for 10/2 which might be more than what you need for one person but pretty much required for more than one, especially if streaming.

I have had Huges net which was nothing but drama and they were inaccurate with their data limit tracking (I found them to show our data was used more or faster than it actually did) which was was able to prove very easy and they let me out of my contract without any problem (well, after I told them about the lawyer I would hire).

There is limited capacity, sometimes it requires someone leaving before another can join. Other options depend on where you are. Rural.net or Cal.net is a terrestrial wireless system that is available in some areas. You need to call them and ask, they may need to do a site survey. David F. replied:Just got off the phone with AT&T and still was told there is no service here after giving my address....was also transferred four times. Re-called Cal.net and they are testing equipment and waiting for the FCC's approval.

Thanks!Ken P. replied:Not many other options for landline phone service unfortunately. For Internet, that depends on who, if anyone covers your area. Contact Cal.net and Rural.net to see if they have wireless repeaters that may cover you, that would get you something similar to the ATT DSL with no cap. But their coverage is spotty unfortunately due to the technology. If you were on DSL and are used to that, I would stay away from Satellite. Only other option would be to use cellular data but with that much data you would pay far more than that.
