  Dr. Robert Nash is awesome and saved my eye some years ago, and Dr Francis had a part in it as well. http://vrawashington.com/ (seems to be current, they were called something else few years ago). Light flashes could be a sign of retinal tearing. If you have floaters and/or flashes, do not wait - see them ASAP.
