Dentist Recommendation near Fenway? Hi all,
Moving to Boston next month. I have a complicated dental hx (impacted canine, recent dental abscess). I am also terrified of the dental. My old dentist was more of a "dental spa" and was comforting. I have united concordia insurance.
Wondering if anyone can recommend a dentist walking distance from the Fenway area and is good for someone that needs extra comfort?
Thanks :)

Dr. Valdemar Welz on Commonwealth Ave is relatively close to Fenway and is hands down the best dentist in the area. Expensive ($174 for teeth cleaning) but it's a luxury I am willing to spend on cause, you know, teeth are kinda important. https://www.drwelz.com/
Boston dentist for dental anxiety? Scared of a painful tooth extraction After COVID passes I plan to suck it up and see a dentist. I have dental anxiety from years of painful unnecessary dental procedures from when I was younger. One of these moved all my nerve endings and since then dentist don’t know where nerve endings are to inject the novocaine. My last filling was. incredibly painful and I have avoided the dentist for 3 years since.
I think I will need an extraction since a back tooth has been breaking, from what I suspect is a big cavity, this is compounding my anxiety. Does anyone have a dentist they recommend? I’m hoping there is a dentist that will do an extraction with some type of sedative or anesthesia.

If cost is no issue, Dr Valdemar Welz on Comm ave in Back Bay is the best I've ever been to. He's on the pricier side but consider this - My mom had to find a dental surgeon out of state and the surgeon took time to say that the work she had done previously was the best he had ever seen. https://www.drwelz.com/
