  Lots of lovely places - depends what you want - we went several times to la Foret, st julian des landes (www.chateaulaforet) - just checked and it seems to have become part of yelloh chain now, but should still be fine - two pools, lake, canoes etc - about 20 mins from coast - we went also to la garangeouis but bigger and too many english holidaymakers for my taste! Why not think about going over the bridge from La Rochelle and out onto the Il de Rey - (www.campinglesgrenettes.com) - don't miss La Rochelle - fab place!! - all of these are take your own tent or use theirs jobs! If you are not taking your own tent I have found recently that either venue holidays or camping selection (also selectcamp) are better value for money than the likes of keycamp or canvas - hope this helps!! Back to my drill now - tie backs to put up!! xx
