The time has come for a new roof. We have both asphalt shingles and a section of torch down roofing. Does anyone have a roofing company to recommend? Or the name(s) of ones to avoid? Thank you in advance!

Gardner Roofing. (206) 440-7611. Top notch and affordable

Gardner Roofing was a disaster for us. Roof leaked, twice (it's only now 2 years old). Insurance agent said the job was shoddy at best. They did fix it, but even the repair looks shoddy. We did not hire them, the previous owner of our home did as a new roof was a condition of the purchase. We inherited the warranty.
In addition to the leaking I've had to repair the flashing as they attached it poorly so it blew off in its first winter.
Also, there are nails that penetrate all the way through the roof and show on the underside of the overhangs on the back of our house. I can't swear that was Gardner, but it's consistent with the rest of the issues with the roof they installed.
I'd steer clear of them.
