2nd opinion home inspection needed asap Looking to purchase my first home and had the inspector which was referred from my realtor come out yesterday. He pointed out a few cosmetic repairs but I'd like to get a 2nd opinion on the structure/crawlspace. It's an older home build in 1945 with wooden floors. Underneath they have some makeshift stacks of brick and wood holding up the floors. The inspector said that he didn't notice any structural problems and the former home owners might have put them down to reduce the squeaking. I really want to get a 2nd opinion for the peace of mind and since the inspector was referred by my realtor. Do you guys have any recommendations? Have you heard of people putting stacks underneath without having any major structural problems? Any recommendations for a 2nd opinion? Please let me know. I need this done today or tomorrow. Thanks

Before I hit the Internet, does anyone know or can you recommend a licensed Colorado home inspector? Thanks!

Jim Bucholtz has done good work for us, and is the only inspector our Realtor will use. He has inspected at least a few Erie Commons homes. Bucholtz Inspection Engineer and Services jimbucholtz@comcast.net 303-506-3484 http://bucholtzhomeinspections.com/
