  Check out www.horsemask.com they are UV protectant. The type of mask that he has on can easily be pushed in and could scratch his eye and cause more issues. The "globes" help protect the eye. My guy wears his whenever he is out. Unfortunately I did not know about this kind of mask until after we had to have his eye removed.

The vet has been out twice as it still wasn't healing up and it's still not really much better now? She is on steroid eye drops 2-3x a day and also another drop to paralyse the muscle for the pupil! I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and how long it can last? Also any suggestions to relieve the pain?

  http://www.horsemask.com/ We have a horse where I work with this, and he did go through a long period with his eye, and it didnt improve so was removed. He got over the op in days and this was about 8 years ago. He wears this mask now to protect the other eye as it is more likely to also contract uveitis. My advise would definantly be to get the eye removed, horses deal with this well and the pain is gone
