  We went to Fairview just outside of Paarl a few years ago. They offered just wine tasting on its own or a bit of cheese and wine tasting. Fairview has the goats running up the tower outside and they also make the cheese on-site. http://www.fairview.co.za/ I've not been to other places for the wine tasting, but I imagine most of the bigger wine farms offer tasting so it is just a case of seeing which one appeals to you - we enjoyed visiting Boschendal but didn't try wine tasting when there.

Everyone in our 4 generations of extended family and friends loves a visit there :-) You can make a whole day of it and you won´t fail to impress. Some of the best things of the Western Cape and South Africa in a ´one-stop´ destination. It is almost like an open air mall on a wine estate but SO Much, Much, Much Better! And if you still feel like something more afterwards you can visit Fairview on the neighbouring farm for cheese tasting - http://www.fairview.co.za/. A bit further to drive but it is definitely worth it.
