Dogs need mental stimulation. They need a task. Tying a very hyper dog outside isnt enough unfortunately. www.nldogwhisperer.com/ That is Ken Reid . He is amazing! Give him a email or a call. He can definately help. His methods are the only ones I like. He helps so many people with a wide variety of problems. He also puts off many obedience classes.
Does anyone know of a good dog trainer? My brother is having problems with his pug. He's for two little girls who'd be devastated to lose their dog. Im hoping to find a trainer who will work with a 9 year old girl as she'd be doing the training.

Emily, topsail star and companion dog trainers both offer obedience classes, as well if they are looking for one on one training you can contact Ken Reid, he is admin on the page "for the love of dogs" and is commonly known as the Newfoundland Dog whisperer, you can also visit his page at http://nldogwhisperer.com/
