  Recommendations for a lawyer? Problems with general contractor on storm damage on house I've been dealing with a nightmare contractor to repair damage from the hail storm we had in April. Every interaction and bit of work done would be comical if I wasn't at the end of the joke. I could write a book on what has gone wrong with this situation, but I'll hold off on that for now. I would like to speak to a lawyer to see if that route might be something worth my time/money to pursue. Any suggestions?

  Depending on the dollar value at stake, it may make more sense to take him to small claims court. You can also contact the texas consumer complaint center and they can put you on the right course of action: http://www.texasccc.com/
