  Getting contractors to give a fair honest informative bid is impossible. 2 flooring quotes in a week and both were a joke. No real info just talking numbers like a freaking car salesman. At one point the price on laminate hardwood went from 8 bucks a sq ft to 12 a sq ft in the same sentence. Carpet going from 3 a sq ft to 6 in the same sentence for the same fooking product. Wtf???
