  All the other vegan pages allow discussions about health, and as you might expect it's generally the most popular topic. Every chapter of The Vegan Society has an official mandate "to further knowledge of and interest in sound nutrition". I'm not sure why anybody thinks they have the right to alter the definition by omitting the parts that don't suit their own purposes. Please take a moment to read just the first few sentences of the eleven page document that is the official source of the correct definition as updated through November 2013. http://www.vegansociety.com/.../VS_Articles...

  Katie. If you're not already, I would recommend becoming a member of the Vegan Society to get support with these issues. Unfortunately I think it's a common problem and doctors and teachers know very luttle about nutrition. Ironic when vegan parents know so much more!
